What is natural Healing?

All forms of Natural Healing are systems of energy channelling. The energy is called 'Universal Energy' and it is channelled as various 'rays' of energy depending on the system that is learned [attuned]. Channelling is the word used for the transmission of the energy through the healer to the healee. Attunement is the name of the process whereby the teacher passes the ability to channel to the student.

The energy has different names in different cultures: Ki, chi, prana, etc. The best way to describe it is to think of the energy 'high' that results from physical exercise, the energies channelled feel quite similar to this. The energy that is channelled kick-starts the healees self-healing by stimulating and increasing the flow of the healee's life-force energy.

What is Tera-Mai?

Tera-Mai is a trademark name of a series of Reiki and Seichem attunement that were channelled by American, Kathleen Milner, in the 1980's. In opening up her system to the world, she was concerned that many Reiki students who had trained with other Masters came to her with greatly varying levels of knowledge and understanding, and greatly varying levels of light in their energy systems, that is, they had not all received the same 'level' of the 'gift' of healing.

Kathleen trademarked the name and produced copyrighted teaching and learning materials in an attempt to ensure that the light was carried from teacher to pupil in as pure a form as possible.

What is Seichem?

As Reiki is described in the previous page a description of Seichem is provided. Seichem is from Old Egyptian words, sei meaning God-energy, khem is the old word for Egypt. Seichem combines several rays:

• SAKARA - fire
• SPOHI-EL - water
• ANGELIC LIGHT - a twofold ray combining air and ether, the Angelic realm.

Sakara is felt as a sparkling or tingling effect, like small electrical pulses. Angelic light is felt as light, cool breezes. Sophi-El is felt as a gentle, pulsating coolness.

Metaphysics

As with Reiki this form of energy healing is not dependant on the healer having any 'belief' other than the knowledge that it is happening: it works. Kathleen Milner however, does refer to her own belief system and so students should be aware that the words 'angels, 'spirit', 'God' etc, are inherent in this system. It also includes the concept of 'Ascended Masters'.
